本中心成立之目的在於透過產、官、學界的合作，使營造業領域中的職業安全衛生有所提升。

    實際作為包含透過辦理各類營造業職業安全衛生的教育訓練、研討會、工作坊的方式，提升營造業從業人員在規劃、設計、施工及監造等階段的職業安全衛生相關知能，並促進營建產業界中針對職業安全衛生之實務交流。

    此外，亦承接各項政府或實務單位職業安全衛生相關研究及合作計畫，針對產業界以及政府機關在營造業職業安全衛生實務上的相關問題以及精進方向，從學界研究的角度向政府機關及產業界提出創新作為及建言。

    未來也將與實務單位合作，進行營造業職業安全衛生相關教材、指引以及課程之開發，以及營造業職業安全衛生相關知識及大數據資料庫之建置，藉此提升營造業之職業安全衛生。

    The purpose of establishing this center is to enhance occupational safety and health (OSH) in the construction industry through collaboration among industry, government, and academia.

    Specific initiatives include organizing various OSH education and training programs, seminars, and workshops for the construction industry. These efforts aim to improve the OSH knowledge and skills of construction professionals across all stages, including planning, design, construction, and supervision, while promoting practical exchanges within the construction sector regarding OSH practices.

    In addition, the center undertakes research and collaborative projects related to OSH commissioned by government agencies or industry stakeholders. By addressing practical OSH challenges and areas for improvement in the construction industry, the center provides innovative approaches and recommendations from an academic research perspective to government agencies and industry partners.

    In the future, the center will also collaborate with industry stakeholders to develop OSH-related teaching materials, guidelines, and courses for the construction sector. Additionally, it will establish a comprehensive OSH knowledge base and big data database for the construction industry, further enhancing OSH standards in the field.
